Inventor DXF FlatExport

Autodesk Inventor Schröder POS3000 Sheet Metal DXF Free tier available

A DXF flat pattern export add-in for Autodesk Inventor, purpose-built for Schröder POS3000 folding-machine controls. Flatten a sheet metal part and export a clean, correctly layered DXF in a single click — with the bend parameters embedded as xData, so the POS3000 has what it needs without anyone re-keying it. Start free with 20 exports a day.

The problem it solves

Getting a folded part from CAD to a Schröder folding machine usually means exporting a plain DXF and then re-keying its bend parameters — material, thickness, bend angle, radius, and K-factor — into the POS3000 by hand. Inventor DXF FlatExport removes that second step: it unfolds the part and writes a DXF that already carries those parameters as embedded xData, so the control reads them directly.

Built for Schröder POS3000

Unlike a generic DXF exporter, Inventor DXF FlatExport writes xData (extended data) into the DXF that the Schröder POS3000 control reads directly. Each exported flat pattern carries its material type and thickness, bend angle, bend radius, and K-factor — so the POS3000 has the bend parameters it needs without anyone re-keying them at the machine, and with no transcription errors between the model and the shop floor.
